The Syrians operate with impunity on Lebanese soil

The official Lebanese acquiescence and indifference is ultimately providing an effective guarantee of impunity for human rights abuses at the hands of the Syrian forces in Lebanon. The Lebanese authorities have no effective official mechanisms to accept complaints or information from the families of the abducted or disappeared persons. In general there are no official efforts to address the problem. More than that they refuse to take any action in case the abduction is reported to them.

Arrests

Expressing your concern at the detainees Lebanese in Syria, expressing concern of their fate, calling for their immediate, and unconditional release.
Seeking assurance that they are humanely treated, and urging immediate access to their parents, and lawyers.
Call on the Lebanese Authorities to take measures to prevent the arrest, and detention of Lebanese citizens by the Syrian intelligence in Lebanon.
